This very special Dining Chair has been adapted from an original from 1946. The Moose has pretty hand-shaped legs with contrasting wooden dowels. Offered in Bleached Oak Washed and Light African Walnut.
African walnut, sometimes referred to as Amazaque, is a beautiful, close grained, stable hard wood which has a finish somewhere between black walnut and Rosewood. Our African Walnut is sealed and finished by hand using natural Tung Oil, therefore variations in depth of colour is inevitable.
Our Quarter Sawn Bleached Oak finish gives a totally natural look and feel. Due to the level of tannin content in each piece a slight variation is inevitable. The degree of flecking and knotting will be more present on larger surface areas.
For environments with high usage, such as a desk chair, it is recommended to use protective felt pads on the feet in order to prevent excessive wear and tear.
