Julian Chichester sells to its products only to qualified Interior Designers and Retail Stores. An account is required to obtain wholesale infor- mation. Please email sales@julianchichesterusa.com or visit our website at www.julianchichester.com for a PDF of the New Account Form.

Orders: All orders must be requested in writing, either via email or with a formal purchase order. IT IS THE PURCHASERS RESPONSIBILITY TO REVIEW ALL SALES ORDER CONFIRMATIONS FOR ACCURACY. For questions or other inquiries, please contact customer service at 336- 886-2454 or email sales@julianchichesterusa.com. HFC (Hold for Confirmation) orders written during markets or trade shows will remain valid for 45 days. Orders without payment are entered as estimates and as such, inventory will not be reserved without a deposit.

Pricing: The Julian Chichester Designer Net Program is for qualified interior designers and retail stores that choose to order less than the Stocking Dealer Minimum, explained below. There is no minimum opening order or minimum reorder required to qualify for Designer Net Pricing. A valid tax resale certificate and business card are required to qualify for Designer Net Pricing.
The Julian Chichester Stocking Dealer Program is for qualified retail stores ONLY and requires a $10,000 USD minimum opening order. A minimum re-order of $5,000 USD per quarter, or $20,000 per year, is required to maintain stocking dealer pricing. A valid tax resale certifi- cate and verification of storefront are required to qualify for Stocking Dealer Pricing. Upon meeting the initial minimum order of $10,000, a one-year grace period from receipt of deposit will be in place. The retailer’s stocking dealer status will be evaluated one calendar year from date of first order based on activity and total sales. Stocking Dealer Pricing is NOT guaranteed from year-to-year without meeting perfor- mance minimums.

Payment: A 50% deposit is required for all orders. The balance of the order, including all shipping, charges and additionally applicable charges is due prior to shipment. All custom “Made to Measure” orders and all upholstery orders require a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. All FIRST orders must be paid with a credit card submitted using the credit card authorization form. Please visit www.julianchichesterusa. com to obtain a PDF of this form.

Payment Methods: Julian Chichester accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Wire Transfer and Check. All orders must be paid in full, including all shipping and additionally applicable charges, prior to shipping from our High Point warehouse. A bank transaction fee of $50 will be charged for each check returned for insufficient funds.

Shipping: All orders ship FOB High Point, NC via common carrier. Julian Chichester reserves the right to choose the best carrier unless spe- cific shipping instructions are received.

Drop Shipments: For orders not shipped directly to a business address with a loading dock, receiving warehouse, or commercial job-site, Julian Chichester will not be responsible for any damage incurred, whether visible or concealed, and no freight claims will be accepted unless damage is notated on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery.

Freight: Orders shipped by Furniture Carriers and LTL Carriers is only delivered to commercial locations. Orders shipping to any location with- out a loading dock incur additional lift gate charges by the freight carrier. Extra charges apply on orders shipping to a warehouse that requires a call before delivery. We will not be responsible for additional charges incurred as a result of inaccurate information regarding conditions at delivery locations.

ALL ITEMS MUST BE INSPECTED FOR DAMAGE PRIOR TO SIGNING FOR THE SHIPMENT AND RELEASING THE DRIVER. CLAIMS FOR SHIPPING DAMAGES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES UNLESS NOTED ON THE SHIPPERS BILL OF LADING. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE RECEIVING WAREHOUSE, INTERIOR DESIGNER OR END USER TO BE PRESENT AT THE DELIVERY AND INSPECT THE ITEMS PRIOR TO RELEASING THE DRIVER.

Returns: All returns must be authorized in advance by Julian Chichester Customer Service. Unauthorized returns will be refused. A 25% restocking fee, plus the cost of return freight will be accessed on all goods deemed not to be defective. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to properly re-package authorized goods for return to prevent damage. Refunds on first-quality goods, if applicable, will not be granted until re- turned items are received at our High Point, NC warehouse and inspected. We reserve the right to impose additional fees or refuse the refund due if items are poorly packed and arrive damaged.

Damaged or Defective Products: Julian Chichester will endeavor to repair or replace any damaged or defective products that adhere to all the guidelines below. 

ALL SHIPPING DAMAGE CLAIMS MUST BE MADE WITH THE RESPECTIVE CARRIER BY WRITING A DESCRIPTION OF THE DAMAGE ON THE SHIPPER’S DELIVERY RECEIPT AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY.

CLAIMS FOR MISSING, DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITHIN 5 DAYS OF RECEIPT. JULIAN CHICHESTER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY SHIPPING DAMAGE NOT NOTED ON THE SHIPPER’S BILL OF LADING. ANY CLAIM FOR SHIPPING DAM- AGE OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCT WILL BE REFUSED IF RECEIVED MORE THAN 5 DAYS FROM RECIEPT OF GOODS.

Damaged or Defective products being returned to Julian Chichester must be packaged in their original or equally proper packaging. A Return Authorization (RA) number must be issued by Julian Chichester and must be visible on the return shipment.

Digital photographs of damaged goods, boxes or defective items will be required for assessment purposes.

Julian Chichester will issue a credit or send a replacement product upon receipt and inspection of the defective product. Refunds will not be issued for damaged or defective items unless a replacement cannot be supplied within our standard back order parameters.

DISCLAIMER: All products offered by Julian Chichester are handcrafted by artisans from natural materials and as such, small irregularities in shape, surfaces and finishes are inherent in the craftsmanship and should not be considered defects. The actual items may vary in color and texture from the images within our catalogs and website. Finish Samples are for reference only and cannot be used against the delivered item for exact color match. It is not uncommon for each piece to be subtly different from the next. Purchasers concerned about the exact matching of products should contact our sales team for more information about individual products for limitations.

Julian Chichester makes every effort to ensure the product description is accurate as represented, however, we do not warrant this fact. Specifications of individual items are subject to change without notice and may differ from product shown in showrooms, catalogs, postcards, advertisements or our website.

Custom orders require a NON REFUNDABLE 50% Deposit and CAD approval in all cases. Should the order be cancelled within 10 working days from the receipt of deposit, no further amounts will be payable. Should the order be cancelled after 10 working days the balance of the order will remain payable and will be the responsibility of the purchaser. We do not guarantee lead times as many factors outside our control can affect the period required to manufacture and transport custom furniture. We accept no responsibility for delays in the fabrication of a custom item. Julian Chichester is not responsible for any discrepancies when items are delivered unless there is empirical evidence indicating our fault.

UL Certification: All electrical products offered by Julian Chichester are designed and engineered to meet all the required safety standards of the Underwriters Laboratory and bear the UL label for the United States and Canada. Copies of this certification are available upon request.

Storage: Payment in full is required immediately for all items in stock. A 50% deposit is required for all backordered items with payment in full required once the item is back in inventory. We will hold items for 30 days prior to release if payment in full is received. A 50% deposit is not a guarantee that we will indefinitely hold inventory. Storage Fees of $100 per week will apply to orders held 30 days after payment in full.

Internet Minimum Advertising Policy:

Selling Julian Chichester product through ecommerce methods is allowed only with written permission. Product images may only be used on customer’s websites with written permission from Julian Chichester. Our current MAPP & IMaPP policy is 90% of MSRP. Our full ecommerce and MAP policy can be obtained from your sales representative.

Each retailer has the right to set pricing at their discretion. However, customers may not advertise or promote Julian Chichester products in print or on any internet location at a net price (including promotional net pricing) that is less than the 90% MaPP or IMaPP. Violations will result in Julian Chichester requiring the customer to cease the promotion or advertisement immediately. Julian Chichester reserves the right to cease accepting and/or shipping orders for violators. At a minimum, all orders in place to be shipped will be held for 30 days. Implementa- tion and interpretation of this policy is at the discretion of Julian Chichester.

Limited Warranty: Julian Chichester warrants its products for one year from delivery against defects in craftsmanship with normal use. No claims will be considered after the warranty period has expired.
